The Rafu Shimpo print edition subscription rates will be increased effective Jan. 3, 2017, the first such increase since 2008. Online subscription rate is unchanged.
We worked hard to keep the print edition pricing as low as possible and are pleased to report that the increase will be only $20 per year, just 10 cents more per copy. Senior rate for subscribers age 65 and over will be an additional $18 per year, or just 8 cents more per copy. This was achieved despite the United States Postal Service’s anticipated rate increase next month.
New rates are:
Regular subscription: $169/ year, $85/six months, $45/three months
Seniors (age 65+): $135/ year, $68/six months, $35/three months
Online subscription: $50/year
As the Japanese American community’s only remaining bilingual daily on the mainland U.S., The Rafu Shimpo relies on your support in order to continue to provide comprehensive coverage of the stories, issues, and events that help define and inform our community.
